Goals For 2015?
Discussion
My event 'season' next year is confined to a just over a week in June (Tour of Cambridgeshire followed by Velothon Wales) thanks to a total of seven weddings next year (including my own), so my goals are a little less specific this year:
Stick to a structured, power based training programme
3000 miles (at 2200 in 2014)
Drop to 69.something kg
Give TTing a go
Get over my preconceptions at give a local club or two a chance
Ad hoc sportives throughout the year - aim for 10?

I'm not setting a mileage target as I don't think my wife would let me better my 2014 6000 miles.
So targets are:-
1. Complete the Fred Whitton
2. Complete the Coast 2 Coast in a day
3. To better my 2014 Cheshire Cat time
4. To better my 2014 Circuit Breaker time (tricky as I was flying this year)
5. Enter a CX race - which I may do on the 4th Jan!
6. Enter a local TT
7. Enter a local NW crit race and get a point!
Finally, enjoy it!!

Goals for 2015
These would include
Maintaining my competitive position in the Manchester Regional Track League finished 12th overall this year, to maintain this could be hard as there are far too many young kids in the sport, it is really good for the sport but not so good for riders of 50 plus years like me.
Ride the Etape du Dales and complete this in under 7:00hrs best time so far 7:23hrs.
Be competitive and be placed in some open track meetings.
If York’s track opens for a track league I would like to ride that as well as Shorpe (if it reopens after building works etc.) Again being competitive within the league.
Ride the World Track Masters Championships (if I can be released from my shifts at work)
It would be nice to get round the local club reliability ride without puncturing last three time I have punctured on the same section of road near to the finish.

I forgot add organising and then riding the PH Tour de France event in May.
Have fun
Seriously, I lost track of "fun" at some point and tailed off after 1500km a month for a few months. Training, structured and focussed, diet etc etc.
Then a SR and RRTY attempt (both of them failed when I abandoned my 600k)
Sod it.
I'm going to do what I enjoy. Ride bikes for the hell of it.
There will be crit racing, Audaxes, at least 4 multi-day tours in Europe, etc etc Ride London and Cambridge if I can get in, Fred Whitton and the 3 peaks as well.
