Anyone taking part?

I'm looking forward to it... as much as you can look forward to 9 solid days of the turbo anyway.

Day 8 is going to be horrible.

I've never tried a Sufferfest video (only just bought my turbo trainer) but a friend might be doing this as he loves a bit of suffering. I Have three Cideos cia Strava premium so may give one a whirl.

I haven't done a sufferfest in a long time think the last one I did was their 2 hour one. That was tough, legs were lead at the end of it and I think I had run out of sweat.

How are we all getting on?

Yesterday's Long Scream was exactly that. I'm not sure what I am but I'm damned sure I'm NOT a time triallist. yes

Was nice to get onto some sprints in Blender tonight hehe

I did Fight Club today, had never done it before. The 5th 'lap' was bloody horrible with all the attacks.

I don't mind Blender, it does go on for a bit though

Cheers smile

Bit of an enforced break tomorrow as I need to get on a plane for a work trip. Fly back in on Wednesday night at around 8pm, then need to get home and do Angels (as I don't want to double up stages where I can avoid it)

Had my first Sufferfest today in the shape of The Hunted. Anyone who does more than two of these (properly) back to back is definitely hard! I forgot to open the door and don't yet have a fan so managed to beat the room up nicely and steam up all the windows. Sweat was running off me by the end.

Nice job smile
I don't recommend doing 2 or even 3 back to back.

There is a challenge to do 10 of the videos back to back, and you can't use any of the short ones

Might attempt it in March

A fan is a necessity if you are doing these inside - you're doubling your suffering without one hehe

So who did the ToS this year? I know drgav did as I Strava stalked him biggrin I can't believe I'd only just tried The Hunted last year and now I've survived 12 hours of the things in 9 days. Once I've made this stupid ironman attempt in July I'm going to prepare for the Knights of Sufferlandria challenge. I can see already that's going to be really tough even at 75% FTP.
