Shorter cranks... Is there a downside?
Discussion
i ride with 155's, reduces knee flex but effectively ups the gear ratio so promotes spinning.
A couple of friends who are over 6 feet tall both ride with 120's, one of them even tried 100's but he struggled to produce much torque, so was spinning like a gerbil in a wheel! We called them "Clown Cranks".

What sort of riding are you doing, and where do you find such short cranks? The shortest MTB cranks on CRC are 165mm...A couple of friends who are over 6 feet tall both ride with 120's, one of them even tried 100's but he struggled to produce much torque, so was spinning like a gerbil in a wheel!
