Hmm, nothing there really grabs me.

Might get some Kinesiology tape though, just for the Pro look biggrin

I got some winter tights last year & they are still going strong.

The Heat rate monitor thing may be worth a punt.

I've got pretty much plenty of everything else, but (if I can remember to actually go there on Monday) I might take a look at that cheap softshell jacket, and some of the mitts. The gloves are the only item of riding gear that I regularly wear out or lose, and the jacket? It'll fill the gap until my PH winter jacket arrives...

Bought a stand from them a year back, have to say very impressed, very solid.

Er, has your store started the special offer early only, from what I know the offer doesn't start until Monday.

Oops - didn't read the post and link properly. Will try to find a Lidl I can get to on Monday. £25 for a bike stand seems like a bargain.

Lidl's going to be too hard to get to on Monday - have ordered a Park Tools PCS 9 on Amazon Prime instead.

Got impatient, cancelled the Amazon order and ran two miles to the local Halfords to see what they had.

There was a Bike Hut Folding workstand with an RRP of £109. As it was runout stock it was down to £40. I though that would do me (and I'd be able to give my daughter's bike a service today). Was ready to pay and run back home, intending to drive back over later in the day.

When they rang it up it came up as £10. There was a lot of head scratching and discussion and the girl on the till tried to get the manager but he was "too busy".

She rang it through and I decided to take it there and then before they changed their minds. Ran/stumbled the two miles home with it on my shoulder.

It;s a nice bit of kit.

£10! Result :-)

You can get a bike work stand on ebay for £28 at any time. Halfords were charging £50 for the same stand.

Yeah it was. I tried it out - solid, heavy, five quick release skewers to easily adjust height, rotation and so on.

Yeah the "£109 rrp" was obviously bullsh*t.

I would have been happy enough at £40 given that I'd decided that £75/£80 for a Park one was "reasonable".

What is the quality of these eBay/Lidl stands? Are they worth getting?

Cycle gear was for sale on Thursday in N.Ireland so got the softshell jacket and a cycle jersey. Both come up larger than normal sizing. I got a large and its more like XL. Kept it cause its still a decent enough fit and like the length of it. Great bargain. Wore it today and it was really comfortable cutting out all windchill. Highly recommended!!

I might have purchased quite a bit from here today.

The stand, pump, jersey, jacket, shorts, saddle bag. All stuff that I don't have it. It seemed good for the price.
