Emergency Overshoe Recomendation
Discussion
My 2014 overshoes are pretty much shot - I do seem to go through a pair every year and treat them as a consumable.
However, I am doing the Cheshire Cat sportive on sunday and the forecast looks like I'd be better off in a boat than a bike. So, given that I need then to be delivered on Saturday, what would you recommend from the Wiggle range?
I've been using these http://www.wiggle.co.uk/bbb-waterflex-overshoes/ which were prety good so if there are no other recommendations, I'll have another pair.
Watertightness and insulation are the primary requirements.
Thanks in advance!

I also use the BBB Waterflex ones and they are pretty good. Mine will also be in the bin soon and they have done just over a year. However, they did last longer than my Castelli ones. I'd stick with the waterflex and just wrap your foot in a carrier bag outside of your socks, put shoe on and then overshoe. It was the only solution that worked for me when I was commuting in all weathers.
I bought these ...great for winter, bit heavy duty for now though

From experience I wouldn't rely on Wiggle delivering by Saturday tbh.
Both Evans and Cycle Surgery will price match online stores and if I were you that's where I'd be heading, just to be sure, to be sure.
Ordered from wiggle Tuesday morning delivered Thursday before 10am in the Highlands of Scotland! Both Evans and Cycle Surgery will price match online stores and if I were you that's where I'd be heading, just to be sure, to be sure.

That's fantastic. I live in central London but it takes at least 4 days from ordering for stuff to arrive.
I had to pay £2.99 extra for guaranteed 2 day delivery as I needed the stuff before Flying out to Gran Canaria and the Royal Mail were excellent with a txt to say when the would be delivering and a txt to say it had been left in the safe place I had stated!
