Got my first trip to BPW a week on Thurs - excited but surprisingly nervous! Not very experienced with big drops and the like so will probably be sticking to the blues!

well, to be fair, you did put up a video of you binning it on two extremely minor features!

(not being nasty here, just honest)

You obviously didn't read the comment posted with it, I believe you have been on a ride with me - can't remember you keeping up very well.

Oh, you want to see a really lame crash at BPW? This is on the A470, I must have just not noticed the drop-off. I actually knocked myself out briefly, because the first thing I said to my mate was "where am I?". He freaked out.

What gets me is the crashes are almost always on the innocuous stuff you are not bothered about riding, when you get to a big feature for the 1st time you may stop, look at it think, hum, unsure but will give it a go, you ride it no sweat, then fall off on an easy bit you've done 10 times before without a worry.

I am currently nursing a fractured C7 vertebrae after landing on my head going over that one last Monday! I'd done it twice already that day, just stopped concentrating for a moment with unfortunate results.

Well, i suppose that makes me feel slightly less of a tool! It is pretty dark among those trees, so easy to not gauge the drop.

But hope you get well soon! Hearing about neck/spinal injuries does worry me more than just "normal" bones being broken.
