Seriously? Go back over my posts and tell me where I said there were just two such options? And that those were the two options.

You claimed that damaging the car meant this driver would not be respectful around cyclists in the future. I merely pointed out an (AN, not THE ONLY) alternative view that the driver was clearly not respectful of cyclists at the moment so damaging the car didn't make matters worse.
