Too many yellow jumpers...
Yes, the Tinkoff-Saxo kit is bit...well, naff.
It's the Lotto ones that I confuse with the yellow jersey; they're far closer in colour. I don't mind the Tinkoff Saxo ones; have always liked luminous kit

Not sure how Lotto could get away with that as I think I read the only reason the Saxo kit has the cammo look to it was because they were told it looked too much like yellow jersey in an existing design?

I see Etixx didn't go to great lengths for Tony, only changed his bartape! Cheap bstards, at least give him a yellow bike ffs!

Not everyone does it, Astana only got round to doing it late on with Nibali's bike I think maybe it is a specialized thing about branding ?

Etixx ride Tarmacs so that was why I wondered, they gave bertie, shcleck etc yellow bikes.

But so did Nibbles as I will now refer to him, the best they gave them was yellow decals and he wore yellow for a while.

I am guessing money has all been spent on Cav !!

Feel sorry for Nacer Bouhanni, he was in good form and I think he would have been there or thereabouts today

AND Kittel.

Can anyone actually understands what he says in that advert?

God they're so bad.

Degenkolb is forgiven for sporting the best moustache in the peloton.

What's going on with Porte this year, down on time and in the second group already, after the peloton has split ....

I know Brailsford was quoted as being disappointed after the Giro, perhaps he's ill again, as they wouldnt have brought him without him being there to contribute. Saving energy, having a grump, getting ready to go to BMC or OGE?

Ouch, guy in white slams into a guy in green as the road narrows and the signage was a factor but that does indeed look like new tarmac and a bit of rain have caused the problem

Is Cav's lead out train not up to it (that's twice in four stages now), is Cav no longer up to it or are Greipel and Sagan simply better?

Cav lost that extra kick he seemed to have a couple of years back?

Etixx maybe started a bit early again given there was a headwind, and didn't have enough men left to avoid being swamped by the Giant Hairdressers. Cav doesn't quite seem to have his previous second kick at the moment, but he often gets better as the race goes on. Greipel is clearly going very well.

Seems odd doesnt it, i mean why the hell did Sagan come from to take second? It looks like having a lead out train these days reduces your options as you are stuck behind your lead out man, thats all well and good if the plan works but for the likes of Sagan who wont often get a lead out train, if ever, you can pick a wheel, jump around and follow someone else who is coming past then right at the end you get a chance to open your sprint up when the lead out trains have blown the rest to bits.

Sagan jumped across the road to get on Greipl's wheel, so essentially had the best leadout going!
