Ouch ... A lot, that's a nasty one.

I do look forward to seeing what reason Prudholme gives for stopping the race, i can only imagine the lack of available medical support for another crash given the demand being the only reason.

Looks a bit of a mess, I imagine there could be a few more out by tomorrow. Cancellara didn't look too happy!

Froome into yellow already!

Surely they wont want to defend it all the way to Paris

Strong ride from Froome there, I thought he might win the stage for a minute to show everyone just how strong he is.

Great ride by Froome - left Contador trailling on the last climb!

Who would have thought Froome in yellow after 3 stages - wow!

I was thinking that Rodriguez went a little too early and Froome would take him, but he timed it to perfection!

Watching the crash again . . . . . ouch, that was nasty.

How come I'm never stood by the side of the road when a bespoke yellow Trek Domane in my size come flying past?

Looked nasty, just about to watch the highlights.

Sky appear to have got smarter with their tactics. Going to be hard to beat (I hope).

I don't think Cav can be blamed for Martin not getting yellow. Although he does tend to sit up earlier than the other sprinters. I'd still be pissed if I was Martin!

Whilst I don't think he realised/remembered Martin could have got yellow however, even if he had, it seems the only person that Cav cares about is Cav.

That's a real shame.

Flippin' irritating that the highlights aren't on ITV Player on the same day.

Yep, just seen a tweet that they are available now - probably an hour after they finish on ITV4+1 or some rule like that.

I don't know if you fancy paying £6 but I just signed up for the Eurosport player to watch the TDF this month. So far its pretty good but I hear tablet support is a bit rubbish

Very bad luck for Sparticus but it's shaping up nicely for the GC boys!
SKY will have to work really hard to protect Froome in yellow.

I suspect they'll only cover the main contenders. If someone else gets away and pinches the lead between now and the mountains, they'll probably be happy with that.

Anyway, cobbles tomorrowyikesthumbup

Maybe if Renshaw hadn't pulled off with nearly 400m to go....
E-QS making another tactical pigs ear of it, as they seem quite prone to? I was surprised at how early the commentators were calling Renshaw. My first (and only) thought was "Where was the rest of the leadout?!"? A victim of all their time at the front?

You couldn't ask for a better team to do so: Thomas and Standard on the cobbles, Konig and Porte for the climbs (and Thomas if needs be: he can haul himself up a sodding great hill quite rapidly if asked). Assuming they don't make a mess of the TTT, they'll be OK on that too.
