Pinot to win the stage and Froom to win Yellow.
Cracking stage today.

Great stage today. Well done to Froome and SKY, total domination since stage 10, and I think that's what has pissed off some of the French fans.

He might lack panache but Froome could easily have been a four times winner by now. Awesome.

I couldn't tell if that was booing or "Frooooome" when he was on the podium. Certainly a muted reception though.

Well done Froome and Team Sky, and also to Quintana for keeping the race going to the end. Great tour, will Cav win tomorrow?

If I heard correctly, Renshaw has gone home - along with Kwiato and Martin.

Sagan for the win.. Tinkoff to ride for him as Contador is out of it.

Great stuff. Sky and Froome knew Quintana was going to beast the hill but did enough to keep him honest. I think the Movistar tactics on the Croix de Fer were brilliant, hats off to Valverde for working for Quintana so well.

Porte gave everything on Huez though and Froome had enough left in the tank when he eventually cracked to bring it over the line only conceding a minute or so. Pinot partly made up for a horrible first week too which was nice.

Far from being a procession I think this TdF has been outstanding, behaviour of certain "fans" notwithstanding.

Karma for Nibbles???? Notice Froomey didn't attack.
Funny enough he did when Quintana lost 1:20 in the second stage in Zeeland due to mechanical problems; did Sky wait, NO; something which is easily forgotten by Sky all of a sudden. So Froome and Sky, who had a seriously though 3 last days of the Tour, won the tour already in the 2nd stage, or could've lost it in the past 1 or 2 days to Quintana....something to think about.

Nevertheless great perfomance from Sky and Froome again; also good to see he won the Mountain jersey instead of the terrible, chauvinistic French.

great thing about the TDF is the best man overall wins.you have 3 weeks to prove yourself and I thought
Team Sky were just epic today. Maybe if Quintana had a team just to himself things may have been different.
I don't think Froome was at his best but he was good enough.
I am also satisfied that this may be the cleanest TDF ever very few if any riders were able to go day after day after day everyone had their off days and tiredness came into play.
I would love to see Cav finish this off but I dont think he has much of a team left.

A few pics from the day - there may be longer climbs, there may be tougher climbs, but there's only one Alpe d'huez. Super chuffed for Pinot too - thoroughly deserved his stage win.
