Bad luck. 'Best' time of year for it though.

I am at just over 1,900km, so my target of 2,015km is in sight!

Snap!

If I manage to get a few rides in over the Xmas period then I might just crack 20,000m of climbing

Not massive mileage for me (2,260mi), but quite pleased I've managed to cycle nearly every week this year:

Just over 1000 kms for this year so far. Which is more than last year, but not enough. I've had the last 6 weeks off the bike thanks to feeling pants and work being extremely busy.

I really need to get my mojo back for riding now as my challenge for 2016 is the Tuscany Trail adventure ride and thats 580Km in as little time as possible, but I'm giving myself a week, but hoping for 4 days!

Not yet, but I'm betting it won't be a lot, I'm expecting less than 100 euro, the Trans Am is only 40 bucks to enter. Registration opens on the 1st Jan.

2 more days of commuting - 28 miles - on top of 1733.8 miles this year.

Just checked my height, though - only just made it over 5 miles! I am not a fan of high stuff!

Stuck at 6052kms, moved from Singapore to Netherlands 2 weeks ago and got 100kms in. Then picked up a stinking cold and been suffering with busy new job and hideous cold, so aiming to get myself feeling better and then do the last 450kms to hit target of 6500(4000 miles) by year end.

Does "Wain" have a meaning I'm unaware of? I fail to see how the arrival of an old agricultural cart would stop you from riding! hehe

I think it may be Jockinese. Possibly a contraction of "wee one". I think it is used colloquially in parts of Scotland to describe a baby whose name is not known, or one which has not yet been named. Shame there's no "Scottish" option on GoogleTranslate... wink

Bit rubbish really, but work, family and illness have all conspired.

Feb-Dec on Strava says...

Dist: 1613km/1002mi
Elev Gain: 24,140m/79,200ft
Time: 99h15

There's about 200km missing from Jan - phone probs meant nothing got recorded - and I might have time to add about another 100km to that over the next week or so. Was hoping for something closer to 3000km though.

From VeloViewer:
Activity count: 119
Total dist: 5,496 km
Total elev: 42,576 m
Total time: 244:31:53

So 5,496km when the Garmin was on. My OCD hates that. If I took the bike with me on a 4k run would that count? paperbag

I can imagine the discussion with the wife now about fitting in 17hrs on the bike over the Christmas holiday, If I get 120km in I will have done well.
