That is MTB, and looking for fun trails, rather than distance etc.

My 2015 goal is 2,015 km, which I'm just about on track for.

I did over 6000miles last year and focused on covering as many miles as possible to reach that target.

This year, I've realised it's quality not quantity, so if I have a 2 hour ride, instead of trying to go as far as I can, I might do hill repeats or a big climb instead.

That said, I've still done over 3000miles till the end of June but have climbed 156000ft as well. Last year I only climbed 200000ft in the entire year.

All here: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...

Groupset should be here tomorrow, along with other parts. I'm away this weekend plus I don't have the tools for the Campagnolo BB (possibly Power Torque or Ultra Torque) so might have to go to the LBS for that. I'd say I'm 2 weekends away, maybe sooner.

1600miles on the head Strava tells me, thought it'd be more as I feel like I've riden a lot this year.

1200 miles so far. Best year was 1800 miles, would be nice to beat that and maybe pass 2k.

I had big plans this year of completing around 3000 miles or so. Which when you consider that i was playing football up to 4 times a week would've been about right guesstimately. Then in February of this year all that changed as i tore my ACL, Meniscus and other gubbins in my right knee so now these are the results for 2015. If i can double that by the end of the year then i'll be a happy boy. smile

Reasonably happy as effectively 10wks off the bike due to slipped discs ..... 6500kms and 42500m climbing target for the year, intend to be back on track by end of July, mid August.

I've got another 38km to add as I rode to work today and haven't synced. It's mostly commuting, though would love to do more rides for fun and competitively if my wife would join in at weekends!

Here being PH, or here being the UK?

I live in Singapore where everything is in Km's and previously France and soon back to Europe .... I don't really care either way, but it's what's relevant for the individual isn't it?

1717.74 miles if you need help with converting to the imperial measurement you prefer.

I've only managed 742 miles and climbed 17800ft so far this year but by the end of July I will have done almost 1300 miles and around 33000ft! I have a feeling I may be a little underprepared for this ride in 2 weeks!!

The Stravistix plugin (highly recommended btw!) has the perfect thing for threads like this. On your profile it shows your progression to this point in the year compared to previous years.

2014 was my first 'proper' year of cycling and with a few dry spells I managed about 1,600km. I'm shooting for more this year but have a little way to go. That I've just bought myself a new roadie (for my birthday, naturally!) should help!
