I looked into it recently, there are loads of companies who gave me quotes, I was looking at the higher quality bottles like the Elite Supercorsa which have a good screw cap and are slightly thicker than the cheaper ones. 2 colours and a basic logo on a white bottle was something like £4.50 each from www.bottlesport.com but they look like they are in the process of changing their website at the moment

I'd definitely have some.

Prefer a screw top one, but it's not a deal breaker.

PS - I also didn't know what a bidon was.

If you could change the title as suggested, I reckon a load more people would click on it.

OK, we're probably getting to the kinds of numbers needed. Can everyone make sure they've popped a number etc. on the sheet so I can tally up and see where we are?

I'll make further enquiries next week.

I've bought from these people before - Wildoo. I think they do the bottles for a lot of 'major' suppliers as the markings on the bottom of their bottles is the same as the marking on some 'famous brand name' bottles if you follow my drift. Oh, and I bought 1000 from them for my local club, bigmouth 750ml. The bigmouth ones are easier to get a 'powder scoop' into.

For the third time, change the title to state 'PH water bottles' or similar and you will probably get more interest.

I will add to the spreadsheet.

As a lowly forumite I can't change the title. Have asked a mod.

Added to the spreadsheet, 4 x 500ml would be my preference

I would happily have one but only if it is a 500 - I can't fit the bigger sized ones into my MTB frame.

Added to the sheet.
500 or 750 either would be ok.

Being a shorty myself, and riding bikes with smaller frames, I used to think the same. But...

...there are quite a few "side entry" bottle cage options out there. Mine came from either Halfords, or a now-defunct LBS, quite by chance. A quick search ought to turn up a number of options. I used mine on a frame so tight that I couldn't even use smaller 500ml bottles on the seat-tube. It's been very reliable too - in the six or so years I've had it, it's dropped a bottle only a handful of times, and mostly because I didn't replace it properly after a drink. MTB racing too (albeit at the back of the field) has been OK, with no lost bottles. Worth a look if your frame is tight for space when stowing or retrieving bottles of either size.

I've attacked the spreadsheet, but hopefully not ruined it in the process.

I'm pretty good at keeping my bottles clean and serviceable, so wouldn't need too many.

If they were to have the PH logo/smilie on them, then I'd like some clear ones. No more than four, all 750ml. If the buy were to go ahead, at the right price I might nab a couple of 500ml bottles extra to that, for shorter MTB trips/racing perhaps.

I'm a big fan of the Camelbak Podium bottles, so a PH bottle with a similar/compatible screw thread to the Podium's lid would be a MASSIVE bonus for me... wink
