Shaping up nicely I think. Plenty of big names in the top 20 and a tough stage today

Enjoying the coverage and racing so far. OGE having another great start and if Chavez can hold the front group tomorrow, they might get the red jersey back again.

I don't think I've seen an interview or comment from Froome yet - nicely anonymous!
Good call, I think he suprised a few today when he went out front and stayed there.

Dan Martin did well to bring the gap down to 5 seconds mind. Would have loved to see DM get a stage win. Shame his team aren't able to control the front of the race.

Just goes to show how important a good team is.

I'm thinking tomorrow some of the big Gc boys will show their hand. it's a summit finish.

I'd be interested to see how Chavez does in the big mountains. I think he will fall behind. Nonetheless he's had a lot of coverage thus far and 2 stage wins so a great tour regardless.

Looking forward to going even more now.

Hope Fromme and the other GC guys get in and amongst it over the next few days.

Agreed the end or mountain sections are the way to go. I'm fully prepared for a few climbs to find the action, I'll take some pics and update when we get back.

Dan Martin's speed over the last 600mM was incredible, I was hoping Cummings could stay away but he almost stopped at the foot of that final climb. Froome looked like Chaves form was a bit of a surprise whwn asked if he was a threat...

Steve ground to a halt at the bottom of that climb - couldn't believe it! He lost 3min 30 from the bottom of that climb. Yikes!!

Great race though, really enjoyed!! Looking forward to watching this evening biggrin

Sagan retired from the race after being taken out by a motorbike yesterday!

Yesterday there were some properly ugly crashes. Sagan was really annoyed and his leg didn't look good. Great pity, I have really enjoyed watching him this year.

Gutted for Dan Martin, doubt TvG will start either... Some nasty crashes out there this year to say nothing of the camera bikes....

Tweet from Ned Boulting in response to Sagan's Medical Car fine....

Some UCI fines so far:

Grmay 400 CHF (wrong jersey)
Sagan 300 CHF (being angry after nearly being killed)
Nibali 200 CHF (cheating)

silly

Cracking finish, although my blink in' TiVo box managed to drop the last minute, so had to wait until the review.

Just caught up on 3 days worth.
Sagan is a legend, thought he was going to spark the daft tt in the audi who was giving him lip after. I do understand the fine though, has to happen. If the uci do it right they can symbollically fine him, and repay the team to repay him. All faces saved.

Chavez instant fan fave, pity he finally cracked. Dumullan is simply awesome right now, great seeing someone bury themself and great to see an outsider do well. Don't expect it to last tho. Suprised to not see more from quintana and valverde, but there's 2 weeks more to go...

Millar said in one the broadcasts that riders don't actually pay them, they're just deducted from the prize money. Which isn't paid for a year anyway. Apparently they'd all sit around the dinner table comparing to see who got the highest, then forget all about them.

Still, it's the inconsistency which gets me.
