Is anyone from here going to Denmark for the Worlds this weekend coming? I know we had a few who qualified at the Tour of Cambs.

Would be interested to know how you get on, if so, and what you think of the whole experience.

I'm heading over there today, I am very lucky that my race team sponsors have funded the trip and paid for my kit, without their help I wouldn't be going.

I'm keen to see what it's all about, the racebook makes it look like a well organised event. I've qualified for the TT and road race, the main focus will be on the road race which will be a different experience to racing over here I imagine, you tend to see all the same faces so not knowing who to watch will make a change.

Just hope that it's brisk from the off so that the people that don't race regularly are dropped off quickly.

Very best of luck to you. I see from the site that they're setting you off by age group, at 10 minute intervals. I guess that means there'll be no race for the overall outside the 19-34s but it will make the races for each of the age-group victories much fairer. Seems a sensible way of doing it.

Hope it goes well. Keep us posted!

Didn't know you were going, I'll be there too. RR only for me in Vet40, flying out from Stansted early Friday back late Monday, staying at the Cabinn. Hook up for a course recce and a beer on Sunday if you like. Also hoping for a brisk pace.

Sounds good, staying in the same hotel on Saturday night. Think we'll be out for a meal in Aalborg Friday night and doing a bit of a course ride Saturday morning. I'm in the same race so should be fun

Official coverage of the TT has been put up on youtube

Looks like conditions were horrible. Hope you have better weather for the road race.

The weather was terrible in parts yesterday, unfortunately for me it started to pour with rain while I was waiting at the start ramp. Was very windy which meant that the roads were drying 15-20 minutes later as I was doing the last miles. The later riders certainly got the better conditions. Didn't do that great, finished 36th out of 56. 3rd Brit.

It was a great event though, Hobro is a really nice little town and I thought the organisation was good, lots of people stopping to chat gave it a nice vibe.

Road race should be dry on Sunday but it's the wind that's the killer.

Must be frustrating to know you would have done better had the playing field been level but, still, 36th at a World Final is a hell of an achievement from where I'm sitting.

Best of luck for the road race. Thursday's wind looked horrible on the coverage but, however much it blows on Sunday, at least conditions will be the same for everybody this time.
