Hello all,

Looking for some winter tyres for my planet x pro carbon, I use it for commuting on and general winter riding, currently have some 4 seasons on it in 25, but they come up small, looking for something more suited to the cold and a bit bigger.

Has anyone fitted 28c tyres to a pro carbon, will it work?

More specifically has anyone fitted the Vredestein Fortezza Senso Xtreme Weather 28c to it?

I'm using fulcrum racing 5 wheels if that makes a difference.

Many thanks

700C with clearance for 25mm tyres so that's a no smile

Not a chance I'm afraid, I run Rubino pro 25's on mine and they are pretty tight.

In fact you could give those a go, they are pretty robust and grippy and I've used them in pouring rain and along mud tracks/cinder trails on mine without any problems.

As above. Friend runs his on 25s and there is no room for mudguards.

Yeah - no chance!

This in mine on 23s, I have fitted 25 gatorskins for the winter and there's barely a fag packet clearance at the BB.
