We did! 11 of PH's most hardcore turned out, and then halfway through a 12th late arrival caught up with us.
My ride was cut short and I had to miss the 2nd half of blue (my fave bit) because my stupid tubeless tyre sprung a leak. Big thanks to JustinS for the Deet, the sealant, and the pump - and the offer of a spare value. Hes like some sort of mobile LBS.
I'll organise another one in the spring when its a bit drier (hopefully).
Number 12 was me - glad to meet you all. I was running on empty by the time we stopped for the puncture repair, so by the time I'd biked back to the camberley side of the forest after leaving you at the lookout I was dead on my feet! thanks to the chap for the bar and jelly babies brew, v much appreciated! My ride was cut short and I had to miss the 2nd half of blue (my fave bit) because my stupid tubeless tyre sprung a leak. Yes said hello to a few of you guys ,yes drafting is the way forward ,tend to find that place good work out, finished up all but 30 miles it's a thigh burner , if your not looking at destroying your running gear thetford is the place ,but not so much the marked trails , yes saw the porsche and the bikes and was wondering how that worked .

Suffolk is just a wee bit far to go just for less abrasive soil! I think we should all do a trip down the M4 and do the Cwmcarn trails Cafall, I thinks the better one, more of a full day trip if you want to do both cafes good for a lunch break if doing both so best in summer :-

Anyone out today who has Strava?
Click on 'Fly-By' for the ride
Tick the top box so that all 'athletes' play back
Zoom in and speed the playback up to about 120x
Hit 'Play'
Play this... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MK6TXMsvgQg ...in another tab
Sit back and giggle!

That's getting on for a 6 hour round trip for me, so rather more than a day trip!If anyone fancies making a weekend of it though, I'd be up for it subject to wifely approval. Best to avoid May though, as I'm already off to Bike Park Wales.
As promised...
Most of the group at the start of 'Blue' waiting for the 'off'.
A fire road diversion early on the Blue Trail.
The start of the Red Trail looking pretty grim without the trees!
Waiting at various points to allow the group to get back together.
This photography lark ain't easy on a moving bicycle you know!
Henceforth to be known as "snapped chain hill". Thankfully it wasn't one of our group, although a couple of our number stopped to offer assistance.
Justin!
That's all the usable photos I managed to get on the way around. Even some of these are a bit ropey, out of focus etc. I hope I captured most of the riders somewhere. Except for me, anyway.
Thanks again everyone. Great ride today

That was mine, I use a seasucker: https://www.seasucker.com/shop/mini-bomber/#tab-de...I got it on a cracking deal from ProBikeKit, it has been great so far!
I was suffering man flu so couldn't attend this, even if I'd noticed it! Was at Swinley over the Xmas hols for a group ride with the 'UK MTB Golden Era 80s & 90s appreciation group' (trips off the tongue!) which was my first visit. Was basically the slowest on the ride, with seasoned pros (retired or current) so would be up for a repeat
