What a depressing way to start a new thread.

Abject in the final third tonight. No one with any trickery. No one able to go past a full back.

Amazing we play like this yet can seemingly afford to keep Grujic and Markovic out on loan.

Its honestly depressing at the minute. our squad is so st its unreal. Benteke is the biggest waste of oxygen ever made, the lack of investment from FSG is appalling and yet they raise ticket prices for next season... the absolute worst thing is we at last have a world class manager, but unless FSG start culling the deadwood & investing in HIS squad, he isnt going to stick around, why would you, why would you continue to wake up every morning to travel to work knowing that 80% of your squad isnt good enough for the championship?

Fans held a small protest at the ticket price hike before the game, and if results carry on like this, the groundswell will kick out towards FSG, not Klopp.

More players are available in the summer - we're not the only team to scarcely buy anyone at all in this window. The January window died a death this year - Klopp said all along there wouldn't be much going on. Chasing an over priced unproven here non-international is fine if the price is reasonale but clearly it wasn't. Hopefully more targets have been ID'ed for the summer;maybe even a couple of "pre-contract agreements" will happen before the end of the season.

Without any finishers, this season is a right off. With a fit decent striker, top 6 might be possible. Its not looking likely though. If we miss out on Europe altogether, perhaps even with Klopp here we'll struggle to attract who we want. I guess we'll see.

Klopp has hell of a job on his hands, this is the worse group of players ever to wear the red shirt and I'm going back as far as 1966. They can all be sent packing and if Klopp can't do anything in the next couple of years we really are doomed to obscurity. Some of the kids show promise of sorts but this is the last chance saloon as far as real success is concerned. It can be done, just watched a team do it.
Twenty years of a slow death continues.....

Knee jerk reaction.

Klopp will be backed fully. Probably more than recent manger. He simply won't buy for the sake of it, as proven this January. Just relax FFS before you starting spouting he will leave because of lack of funds. It's just nonsensical hyperbole.

Beaten by top of the table.

Entertaining game though compared to the last couple.
