This is the last road top design but I would suggest that the smiley be done in white with the background black. So reverse of what it is.

Funnily enough, I have been thinking of just that as an alternative to the main design. It'd have it's own order minimums, so would be dependent on sufficient demand.

As before, watch this space...

That dashing chap in front is modelling last year's, whilst about to power past him up the next climb is richardxjr in the original. For this run, think the colourway of the last year's but with a smiley more like the original. It's what Gruffy would have preferred last year but was constrained by the manufacturer's safe zones. Having spoken to them this morning there's hope we can relax those restrictions. Should bridge the gap between the two designs nicely.
I've got a couple of the yellow trimmed jerseys still in their wrappers somewhere. From memory I bought 3 because I didn't expect two more runs after this lot. I have worn one size 'XL' quite a lot, I think the unworn pair were an 'L' and an 'XL', but I haven't seen them in a while. I'll get digging in the bottoms of drawers to see if they turn up...

the design before was inversed, I like it a lot, if sixpot uncrops his photo, you'll find a rather handsome (but slightly malnourished and albino looking) 3rd rider sporting the final owayo kit.

Question for everyone: Is there any interest in doing the same for the MTB jersey? Having an inverted option for that design too?

White MTB:

Black MTB:

(forgive quick and dirty PS invert)

Same caveat that order minimums would apply to the two designs separately.

Bioracer work on an order value per design. As long as an order for a design exceeds £840 (£700 ex-VAT) there are no small order charges, and we just pay the per item cost for everything ordered (which can be anything from their range applicable to the design).

No promises just yet, but here's how I'd like to do this:

I'll make available a price list and we'll have four ongoing waiting lists. Road (white), Inverted Road (black), MTB (white) and Inverted MTB (black). I'll ask people to put down the item(s) they want and we'll keep a running total for each list. Whenever a list gets above the £840 threshold I'll ask everyone on that list to pay up so I can put an order in. Anyone else will have a couple of days to jump in, then I'll put an order in for the design, and we'll start the list for that design afresh.

Lead times are quoted as eight weeks but I know people will be keen to get their kit asap in time for the summer, so by jumping in as soon as we have enough we'll get the kit to the early birds as soon as we can. By having ongoing lists any subsequent newcomers to the forum, or infrequent visitors who miss the first order, will still be able to get kit by joining the waiting list for the next order.

The design order value thresholds are independent of each other, and I'd put the orders for each design in independently of each other. Whenever that design reached its threshold.

hehe

I think both would work well. I prefer the yellow of the original but the red also works well and I'd still definitely buy one. I also prefer the standard smiley, not the one that looks "droopy".

I'd probably buy 2 of these to be honest. RE sizes....do Owayo do XS, or is the smallest a size S? Either way, I'd be that! Prefer my jerseys on the tighter side in general, Castelli size small works for me if that means anything! smile

The plan is to go Bioracer again, same as last year, rather than Owayo. The Bioracer quality really is very good. They have Continental sizing, if anything the road kit I bought in last year's order is snugger than my Castelli gear.

Their size chart is here http://www.bioracer.co.uk/en/collection/size-chart

I know you're very lean, but for anyone else on the cusp of two sizes my advice would be to size down for skin tight, size up otherwise.
