By the look of them, I have a previous version of the shoes you linked to in your original post.

Most of my cycling is done on my commute and I have to be able to drive, walk and cycle in them. Normally in a hurry, so I couldn't be arsed with faffing about with cleat covers and the like.

I ended up with SPDs and Shimano M088 shoes for the summer and Shimano MW80 boots for the winter.

I then run SPDs on my MTBs and Road bikes as well as my Brompton.

I got the wider fitting shoes and it's all good. Both are about two sizes bigger than normal shoes though.

PS - the cleats on both of mine are recessed enough so that they don't scuff our wooden floors in the house, cause me any problems on slippery train platforms or get stuck on the pedals in the car.
