Not sure if this post has been done, but let's see a pic of your Brompton.

Here's mine.

I've got an H6L

But I also had a plan.

Remove the bars and fit low risers.

The S type was too low, and I didn't like the upright M type.

How mine looked when I ordered it.

How it looks now.

Had mine since July of last year. Orange and blue M3L. Really happy with it. To date its done 1338 miles and saved me £750 compared to using the tube everyday. I had a Tern Link D8 before that and although it rode better, the fold was very poor as was the build quality.

I know a few people who have owned Terns and all of them have junked them in favor of Bromptons smile They really are fantastic machines. Mine is used in all weathers and actually ridden more than any other bike I own.

Does any one know why the S handlebar bike doesn't come with a bag block?

I have a red one I bought for a 6 month contract 10 years ago - really must look at putting it on ebay.

Nice colour match with the S2000 I had at the time.

All of the other bikes at Evans had the blocks attached on show but not the S handlebars. Are they an extra on all models?

6 speed, tall handlebars, telescopic seatpost, raw laquer, superlight (titanium bits), mudgards, kojak tyres and the better wheels for when it's folded.

Being raced at Goodwood for the 2014 World Champs.

I'm the middle one, this was the end of lap 1 of 4:

Evans are the largest seller of Brompton bikes and they often have stuff on the shelf that varys in specification and in my experience a lot of them are better value than buying from Brompton direct.

Brompton charge £15 for the luggage block if you do a custom order and they also charge extra for colors other than black or white. In Evans You could get a red and black Brompton with luggage block and schawble tyres (£30 from Brompton) for £1k. Probably cost you £1125 ish from Brompton direct.

This reminds me to clean mine lol, would not make a good picture. I seem to go through brake pads like they're made of chocolate, is there a longer lasting pad option?

I'd really like to have another go, I'm a lot fitter than I was then. I saw another PHer there too, but I don't remember his name. Pleasant chap though. (Whooped him.) biggrin

Mine is coming up to its 1st birthday! This thread is very timely since I just gave it a full detail this afternoon, I will get a photo up tomorrow.

Used pretty much every day apart from during the really dire weather a while back. An incredible bit of kit
