Finally got round to posting some snaps of my 2016 S6L Black Edition, some on its arrival just over a month ago and couple from my daily commute.

Being used as it was designed smile

Quick question..
I ordered +12% gears & receipt says that..
However a sticker on the Hub says standard ratio.
Would + say otherwise? Wondered if the sprocket gave the increase..
The sprocket would be bigger to give you +12%

I've got an interview in Hove on Mon morning, so an overnight. Will be taking the Brompton so I can take it for an early morning thrash to calm my nerves.
Just started a Brompton group on FB with an aim to do some meets if enough people join!

It's for Sussex owners.

Ditching Beacon on a Brompton is impressive, not sure if I'd manage it on my 2 speed!

Loved the program, despite having Gregg Wallace front it! I don't yet have a Brompton, I don't yet have commuting circumstances that require me to own one, but I so want one! Already configured on the Brompton website! smile
They are so well loved, nearly every time I go out out on it someone will ask me about it smile

My rear rim's just cracked after just 2,200 miles.

Wasn't overly impressed with that I have to say.

Just pleased it didn't go while I was doing 40 mph down Marlow Hill.
That's not good! Is covered under warranty?

The topeak light wasn't lighting my way so I still needed another light to see where I was going.

Saw a cateye light on Brompton Junction that comes with Brompton bracket.

It's a little pricey at £50 but it is a nice piece of kit.

Love the look of it also.

On the subject of gears, I had a rear puncture on my Brompton yesterday. After finally purchasing the correct inner tube and refitting the wheel and derailleur, it would not go into the lower gear. A short YouTube video later and shifter tension adjusted and derailleur indexed and now working perfectly smile

It's so simple, once you know, right? Make sure you double check the bolts holding the wheel on a couple of times over the coming weeks. Don't ask how I know. eek
Yes much easier than indexing my road bike smile

Note to self, when repairing puncture make sure to check for glass imbedded in the tyre!

She's finally arrived. Already smitten. She's a S6L. With the 8% front cog.

What a giggle to ride. Been a while waiting but worth it. Feels not far off the pace of my road bike that said strava says otherwise lol.

It's just the tonic I nreded after a mountain bike crash and broken hands have sapped my enthusiasm for cycling. Its back now. Might even grow a hipster beard....not.
Mine is my favourite bike and I've just spend 2k on a carbon BMC.
