I was thinking we needed a Midlands (Cannock Chase?) PH MTB ride out, was going to suggest something for next month.

Excellent, Will!

Great idea, JD! We've been unofficially organising road rides and events so far. Gruffy put together Tour de Pistonheads last year and I organised two teams for Rad am Ring this year, plus there's been the Tour of Cambs, the Dunwich Dynamo, Revolve 24 and a few sportives along the way too. Would be great to make them somehow "official" though, as that label might generate even more interest and participation thumbup

Leave it with me - Cannock is my local too! I'm thinking of a mid week night where we combine a bit of a "Sunday Service" style car meet that then turns into a bike ride? Perhaps on a Wednesday night or something?

Thoughts welcome!

Excellent, I know a few people expressed interest for a Cannock meet in the leisure lakes demo day thread.

An evening meet could work, but doesn't the car park close at dusk? We'd need to do it soon. Generally Sunday's work best for me, but I realise that you'll be busy with Sunday services.

I'd be up for a road bike jaunt somewhere in the southern region too. Last years PH TDF day was terrific as well as the Brighton run too.

Mine arrived the other day, a little on the big side, bit it'll shrink the way I wash clothes anyway.
Hopefully wearing it tomorrow in the woods

A london-coast and optional return would be good, I'll suggest Eastbourne here, gives a route across Ashdown forest and would put the distance at 60mi/100km one way which seems like a good late season number for a sunday jaunt and would make for a 200km round trip for the (should be) committed.

Glad it arrived OK! Sorry to hear it's come up a bit big. On Bioracer's site, the Downhill Jersey you chose is described as being "Loose torso fit, suited for wearing extra body armour". I don't know if you're wearing it without armour but that might be why it's roomier than expected if not? I hope it's not too baggy for you. It did look a really nice piece when I was checking and sorting through the batch.

Count me in on the London/coastal ride. Midlands would be a stretch for me, JD probably doesn't want to see me faceplant in front of him again anyway!

My jersey arrived on Friday... well its a bit tight. Figure hugging, think 'only cyclist in the village'. Wife was in stitches. Anyone wanting a swap for a smaller road jersey, do get in touch. I'll sign up for another one too so we start to reach critical mass again. Mine is a 4/L

Wore my PH aero jersey today....I said it was a very tight fit but when I was riding it was really comfortable. I couldn't use it for long rides because the pockets are on the tight side but I reckon it'd be good for 40-50 mile rides without issues.

Also got a few strava PBs including a 2nd overall (I got a time of 18:37, KOM is 18:32....would have pushed more if I'd have known I was that close!)

That's great to hear! I hadn't budgeted for insurance when I looked at postage to the Netherlands so had to cross my fingers with yours!

The MTB tops looked really good, btw... smile

Bioracer have switched now to their 2017 range and adjusted their prices. I'll amend the first post with the changed items and update all the prices as soon as I can.

Bioracer said:
Our Prof line has been completely revamped, with a slightly more relaxed cut but without compromising on aerodynamics.

[Other] main changes to note are the Quadri fabric has finished and is replaced with the Matrix jersey which is the same fit as the Quadri jersey was but uses the fabric we use for the torso of the Bodyfit jersey.
Transotex has also finished and has been replaced by Tempest Light.

Professional Lycra shorts are no more and all orders for these should be directed to the Professional Elite lycra shorts which is basically the same short but with the leg band as used on Race Proven.

Can certainly add you to the list. thumbup When there's enough value in the list to meet our supplier's minimums we'll put another order in.

Instructions on how to get added to the list are given in the original post.

Thanks for the mail. Added you to the lists thumbup

We're roughly halfway to minimums on the first design, but it may take a little while to get there. Never say never, but I'm not expecting demand will be strong enough now until the spring and the return of the good weather.
