You werent up at Swinley yesterday, were you? I overtook a couple on his 'n hers Santa Cruz's, and they looked like they were box fresh (the bikes, not the couple).

I was on my hardtail, and in answer to the post above saying Swinley would be hard on a H/T, well i guess it is - hard and fast, baby. When im on my F/S it feel comfy but slower. Yesterday i aimed to do something i havent done before - full blue & red, twice, non stop. Well, massively underestimated the breakfast i should have had and the water i brought, and bonked big time on the second lap of Red, and had to finish off blue at a snails pace... i was ruined for the afternoon!

I think those look really ugly and those aren't smal, frames. The proportions are all wrong. In a sport where most people are buying on looks, I'm amazed so many people buy 29ers. Unless it's the largest frames, they look awful.
I think they look incredible, both far more capable than my skills and I'd certainly buy them on looks alone.

One man's meat etc.
