Probably a weird option, but you can spec a Ribble 7005 Sportive with Dura-Ace for £1,399.94 on their bike builder.
Pay up Pablo!

Evans sale items can be good value, I picked up a CAAD10 105 for £850 and a pair of S-Works shoes £120 cheaper than I could find anywhere else on-line - both were last years models though so I don't look cool when I'm out on/in them.......

Opportunism. Like Halfords they will price match their own webstore. As well as any other online retailer.
Price match ! my arse , they only price match certain retailers , they wouldn't match something i found in Decathlon.

It's a pain in the arse to trundle over to Purley but out of principal i will as well as saving a pony to boot

Agree'd but the guy said to me yesterday that if i found it anywhere cheaper in the uk they would match it.

Apart from Decathlon that is ,

Good old Halfords have now got my hard earned.

That's fair enough sir, But the heartbeat of any bike is the groupset .When looking for a bike i always look at the groupset first.
No. The heart of a bike is the frame. How smooth the gear shifting is pointless if the frame isn't half decent.

Also, it wouldn't surprise me if some riders couldn't tell the difference between a 105 shift and Uletegra shift.
