He's doing a great job. The map I'm looking at is crazy it must be 300km by 200km with competitors scattered all over it with Gruffy in the South East of the map. I guess those in the North 200km behind have slept through the night and will do a bit stint today. First time I've followed this race.

Incredible, he's doing very well. Easily in the top 10, but seems to have a faster average pace than most of them (he must have been a fairly late starter).

Go Gruffy - I'm addicted to dot watching!

Long long way to go yet, but 325 km in 12 hours is impressive.

I wouldn't say being ahead at this point is a good thing haha - they all know what is to come.

Keep it steady Gruffy - good work smile

Race information is saying that Ibbett has scratched due to a recurring back injury...

I see he's stopped for a McDonald's that was some stint!

Was it a mass start or intervals?

Pretty sure its mass otherwise it would be unfair - this is a race, not a sportive.

The timer is showing people all starting at different times. Race against the clock, isn't it?

Odd, I thought it was the first person to the last CP?

Gruffy will know I'm sure when he comes back on.

The check in card shows check points closing at certain times so if you haven't made it by that time your out that doesn't factor in people starting hours after each other?

I think you self certify if the CP has closed rather than go out of the race...
