Hi,

I one of the threads I saw somebody mention a compact, folding tool thingy, with a nice small scissor tool - ideal to use on overgrown bridleways, to get rid of these bramble branches that go across the whole path...

But I can't find it now!

Added bonus would be, if it also included normal bike tools - any recommendations?

I'm not interested in taking our garden tools with us on bike rides though, so needs to be small! smile

Thanks

I'm not a cyclist but I always take a pair of secateurs on walks for the reasons you describe.

When I go on long walks I'm a bit anal about weight, so I bought a pair of child's secateurs from the garden centre I work at, which are tiny!

I'd never carry any blade or pointed object if cycling.
One decent off and Murphy's law says you'll be pulling it out of you...

If I come across some brambles I'll test it out for you, but this lives on my key ring - and no risk of being on the receiving end of it:

Weighs nothing and takes up no space. I mostly use it for opening packages and as a 'just in case' seatbelt cutter. May work for you.

It's folded, on the bottom of my backpack, possibly also in a carry case.

Surrounded by other items, quite unlikely that it'd unfold on its own smile
