Fixed Gear. WTF?
Discussion
My fixie acme with 48x18 - which is what I used when I was working in a hilly area (High Wycombe, Swindon). It is fixed both sides so I put a 48x17 the other side which is what I use on flatter terrain.
I would prefer to have the choice of 48x16 on one side and 48x18 but I would need to remove a chain link to run 48x16, which means I wouldn't be able to run 48x18...

i have a dolan track bike that i commuted daily on for a while (with a crappy front brake on non-brake tracked wheels).. great fun and felt like great training
However on Monday i saw a courier try to do a skid stop and fell off in Bishopsgate (centre of the City) with loads of traffic behind him.. not only did he look like a tt but was also super dangerous.. realised that i am actually gonna commute on a geared bike with brakes.. hence the purchase of the Parlee!
