Tacx training app

Does anyone use it? Is it any good or did you just switch straight to trainerroad et al?

I prefer Zwift, I find it one of the few ways that I can put up with an hour on a turbo trainer

I find it ok, fills the gap as I've cancelled Zwift over the better weather months. I only use it because I have some real life videos downloaded for it, which I like to ride in conjunction with a workout.

I'll be going back to Zwift over winter (which works better for me than TR).

Cheers, looking at the tacx vortex trainer but wondered if I'd need to also pay for Trainerroad, training peaks or zwift too. If it's useable I'll be able to buy the trainer, use the tacx app in the short term and look at something else a little later

Vortex Smart is what I have, the Tacx App is functional and has the ability to create workouts and use ERG mode (plus pay for videos to download if you prefer, I bought a few of the Marmotte videos). I use the app on an iPad, not tried on other devices.

I used the Vortex Smart with Zwift for around 5 months, loved it, especially the mountain course.

I must admit it's existence had passed me by. The Sufferfest app is my go to app for the turbo trainer. A smart trainer and ERG mode makes it a proper killer.
