Help needed - messed up my reverb

Long story, basically had an issue with my rockshox reverb (A1) and end up loosing all hydraulic pressure by removing the the circlip and cap on the top of the post.

Bought a bleed kit and also repressurised the post (250 psi as per the web), bled the line but the post is staying down??? I can pull it up but it instantly goes down, no air in the line that I can see too but the button/plunger doesn't return. It's as if it's kind of working in reverse if that makes sense... help what the heck have I done/doing wrong???

Did you pressurise it it the right position? Ive not got a reverb but the command post needs to be extended before putting the pressure in otherwise theres no pressure when compressed to pop back up.
Might be wrong but, thats all I can think is the issue.
