Anybody got it and if so whats the verdict? It looks amazing on the videos I have seen.

I loved number 8 and 10 but not bothered with any since number 10. Im also aware it will need lots and lots of hours put into which I dont have.

I had a few days of holiday to use before Christmas, so I've been playing it (a lot) since release. It has a similar gameplay feel to 12 for me - the story is fairly linear, but there are so many sidequests that you don't feel restricted to it.

The map is enormous, even from very early on - definitely not one of those games where you'll explore every corner unless you're a glutton for punishment!

Are you impressed with it? I fancy getting it but with out having the time to put in to it I feel it would be a waste of money. Im currently running through Fifa, Modern Welfare remastered and FM17. I may wait a few months until im bored of the other games. I still need to get Uncharted 4 and and Tomb raider lol.

You know the saying is true, young age = no money, energy but lots of time, Middle aged = money, energy but no time lol.

Highly recommend getting it, you can play it however way you want, people have completed main story in 30-40 hrs, so it's not too long.

I'm a traditional JRPG grinder, that means I'm still in chapter 1 but at lv 48, but most have gone to around chapter 8 at lv 30, skills and tactics are far more important than outright strength in FFXV.

But it does eat up time if you want to do everything on the map, a good dungeon can take up 30 mins.

Been playing this weekend, I've done a fair few side quests but I'm currently on Chapter 11 at level 38-ish.

Good fun, struggled for a while until I realised that I still had the level 1 weapons!

Really enjoying it so far (40 hours, level 46, chapter 6)

love the combat system and the overall world

some of the quests are a pain as you spend so much time travelling backwards and forwards.

i'm in no rush to finish this and spend lots of time fishing and hunting smile
