DB11 on Amazon Grand Tour

Just watched episode 3 of the Grand Tour on Amazon prime.

So far it's the best episode I've watched, they do a road trip with an Aston Martin DB11, Clarkson is driving it, Hammond is driving an American muscle car and May is driving a new Rolls Royce.

The DB11 looks great but I'm not keen on the colour, Clarkson loves it but unsurprisingly doesn't like the interior.

Has anyone watched it??

It's a good episode. But would have been better without Hammond in his musclecar - while it was intended to be comedically annoying it was actually genuinely irritating as it stopped Clarkson and May talking about 2 great cars

I'm enjoying the Grand Tour. Felt episode 3 was too staged at the beginning and the 'acting' was wooden but when it got going the programme was great. Well worth the subscription fee for Amazon Prime.

Two Aston Martins (Vulcan & DB11) in two of the first three episodes. Works for me!

PS: the second episode was shte.

Wasn't it a dig at the BBC ? Reference that episode of top gear that got slaughtered for MLB passengering that yank car doubting?

100% agree, one of the worst hours of TV I've seen (worse than any of the Evans TG experiment), not even the Vulcan saved it!

Watched it yesterday, most of it was harmless fun car related entertainment. Some of it a bit boring. Nice to see the DB11 get good coverage and amusing to hear Clarksons opinion on the interior.

Not sure I agree with the verdict on the interior. To describe the centre stack as looking like 'Lady Parts' was amusing but a bit sensationalist.
I agree though that the exterior colour is very 'Marmite' as are the interior facings (Broken Carbon?!)

I have stopped watching it and cancelled my Amazon Prime 70 day trial. Not worth it. The format has run its cause with either Chris Evans or Clarkson.

I thought the third episode was really funny, although very staged. GT is obviously more geared toward general entertainment than automotive compared to how the trio's TG was. I'd like to see it move back more toward automotive. And yeah, the second episode was terrible.

They've made snarky references to BBC and TG several times in the first three episodes.

Shame Clarkson keeps saying its Sunburst Orange, and not the correct colour, Madagascar Orange. Seems he's mixed up the colour with Sunburst Yellow.

I think it's actually Cinnabar Orange. I like it, but then again I lusted after the Madagascar V12V at Works some years ago......

I like it too, I might be mad but I have ordered a GT8 in it. Brave, mad or inspired only time will tell.

I thought long and hard about ordering my GT8 in that too, went another direction in the end but I think it will look great

Haven't seen that episode, almost didn't bother as both 1 and 2 were a waste of an hour of my life. I'll give it a go based on comments here, but it's probably GT's last chance for this series.
