My bike would win for heaviest and it's a two man job so will have to wait until I have another pair of hands to assist.
Off to find the bathroom scales in the mean time.
I'll see your two man bike and lay my recumbent trike, 18kg without the rack.

My Giant Propel 2 came in at 8.3kg with pedals and cages, no computer mount. Medium frame, standard apart from the saddle and tyres.

I haven't weighed the Allez or the cross bike yet.

58cm SL4 S Works Tarmac, Di2 Ultegra 1500g wheels tubeless, S Works saddle and one piece stem/bar about 6.7kg with vector pedals. Tubs and SRAM Red would easily under 6kg.

15kg for a full suspension Giant Reign 2. I weigh 118kg so it's largely irrelevant anyway. Still on some downhill sections locally I'm in the top 10 on strava, so I'm not too bothered. My carbon CX is about 9.2kg with pedals, I'll have to weigh my roadie to see how light it is - it's had ultegra wheel and group sets on an alu frame so should be around the 9kg mark?

My current ally Cube (Now with 105 5800 instead of Sora)

with no bottles, but Garmin 520, saddle bag with spare tubes and lights weighs bob on 10kg.

New bike comes in two weeks though. I expect to it to be sub 8kg.

My Canyon Commuter weighs 11.5 but that's with lights, rack, mudguards and an 11 speed in gear hub which weighs around a kilo all by itself.

My generic Dutch bike which I use for cycling to the station, picking up takeaways, going to the pub and generally for when I'm somewhere a bike might get stolen, weighs 21kg (yes, 21) and that's despite having an alloy frame. Only 3 speeds too.

My CAADX winter bike is about 10kg, with 105 group-set and hydraulic discs.

My Planet X RT-80 is around 7.5kg with Force 22 group-set.

I can definitely feel the difference, the lighter bike seems to be about 10% quicker over most rides.

5kg is getting into serious weight weenie territory and not as common as you'd think.

6kg and below is quite achievable but you'll be hunting out some quite tasty and expensive parts to get there.

My Tarmac SL4 Expert was 6.8kg, but it was a 58cm frame which doesn't help to start with.

The only savings I could make further would be some light tubular wheels which would save 400-500g.

I had a Ultegra groupset with DA cassette but an S Works chain set. I could've saved about 200g going to a DA brake set, shifters and mechs.

I had an Enve post, S Works stem and light alloy bars, I could've saved about 50g with carbon bars, saddle was already carbon railed.

That lot would've got me near to 6kg but would've cost thousands!
I thought 6.8kg is the minimum race weight.

Presumably spending big sums to reduce that is just for bragging rights, rather than beneficial?

If my conversation is correct that's 7.7kg.

Very light for an MTB!

I've got no accurate weights for any of my bikes really...
I'd be interested in the weight of your SL6, literally just realised as I typed this that last year's 'summer' weight of 8.1kgs as ridden (empty bottle cages but with computer) is now obsolete as I've changed the cranks and chain set for a Verve power meter set!

I'll be back in 10mins! smile

ETA:

My 2015 Trek Emonda SL5 as ridden in 'summer' trim with 25mm Conti 4000Siis, empty cages, rear beacon light, cycle computer and the power meter cranks is 8.3kgs.

The 2014 Dawes Galaxy AL touring/commuting bike with mods including 105 groupset, Fulcrum Racing 5 Wheels, 28mm Conti 4Seasons, empty cages, lights front and rear plus mud guards but no rear rack is 11.1kgs

The weight and geometry difference between the two is very noticeable and although the Emonda could benefit from lighter wheels and the kit on the Dawes deserves a better frame, I still have 3-5kgs to lose from myself before I should consider spending any more money! (2 1/2 yrs ago I was 94kgs, cycling and a change in eating habits got me to 79/80kgs until I went 'almost' sugar free (refined sugars) at the start of the year, Friday I was 75.1kgs and still dropping! Aiming for 70 by April...)

My 2012 Aluminium Rose Xeon 7.8kg with pedals and bottle cages. I'm pretty happy with that weight, especially since it is fitted with an Ultegra triple set-up. I use it for general club rides and on the Etape du Tour a couple of times. It feels light, precise and responsive to ride.
