Yeah fair enough, seems most bike from Canyon have a ridiculous wait on them... Why bother advertising them if they aren't even close to production yet?!?!
My Canyon Endurace AL 7 turned up within a week of ordering after they'd originally said that it would take 4 weeks

Disc model. With my 113kg the added weight will not hinder the bike smile
Same boat here @ 95kg for a shorty!

Disc20 looks lovely, I like the blue colour scheme.

Well the draw of steel won through and the ability for a rack.
Thanks for your input chaps was appreciated.
Ordered a Genesis Equilibrium 20 from Freeborn.I was looking for discounted 2016 but was offered 2017 with 20% discount,11/32 cassette and mech, delivered for under my budget of £1500.
Sweet. My brother rides a Genesis for commuting and weekend club rides. He had to downsize his 'fleet' after marriage and two kids, plus a busy job, kept him away from his downhill and carbon race bikes too much.

He loves his 2016 Equilibrium Disc 10. I'd have a Genesis if I had space/funds for another bike. Sadly I'm looking at a "best case scenario" of being allowed a new frame, if I promise 'er indoors that I'll swap the components across from the old one and chuck it in a skip...

Canyon Endurace Disc. I've just purchased one from stock although disc makes it up to 1850 once you pay all the delivery and packing charges
Is that the CF SL8.0?

Currently considering one myself so would be interested in some feedback when it arrives...

Once I am fit again I may build up something with caliper brakes from my parts bin.

The one I had ordered was a new model, hence I think your basically pre ordering. I would have waited but I have had enough of my current hack which I have ridden virtually daily now for 4 years, hence why I need a bike, now. It is due to arrive in 2 weeks.

Canyon have not long moved production of some (if not all) of its frames from Giant to Quest Composites so delays may be down to that.

Nice.....

I'm also contemptlating the 9.0 too, as I always suffer some budget creep. plus I can have a Lava coloured highlight with that model too

I was looking at the AL 7.0 disc but delivery anticipated end of May. Guilty of budget creep myself but the racing red colour scheme really appeals and the budget would have to creep significantly to get the same red frame elsewhere in the range.

Think I might go for it and just be patient. Have a Canyon Aeroad but I need something a little more relaxed for my ever increasing aches and pains and it just doesn't seem to get that much use unfortunately.

Aches and pains was one of the reasons I chose steel.Road buzz really exacerbates those niggles.

Acycles (France) and buy a Ritchey Pro logic, discounted 105 groupset and a fairly decent wheelset.
