I was totally put off carbon rims on the last Enduro I rode. I was sat at the bottom of a rock garden and a young lady pulled up next to me and she was hissing. We all said she had a puncture, turned out the rim was cracked! Brand new bike, less than a day old and she was at the furthest point from the car park. OK they weren't Enve rims, they were Mavics but I reckon Ill stick to alloy lol.

Looking fwd to the Enve pics though.

Strange, Mavic own Enve wink
Dont think i've seen Mavic plastic yet?
seen a lot more alloy rims fail over carbon, similar to ally frames to carbon. (i have broken both smile )
