My Genesis was supplied with a sheet of steel rather than a saddle and my backside is protesting.I have a B17 on my tandem but want a more weather proof option and the Cambium could be it.

From his posts I see Johnny has one, does anybody else and what do you think of it and is it comfortable?

I have one on my Genesis Day-One - it's comfy and I'm pleased with it but saddles are very personal so it's best to try it yourself.

It does look good though...

I know a couple of lads that have had them, no complaints apart from they all broke.

Mine lost a rivet a few weeks back, got a new one direct from Brooks for about €4 but no other issues that I've had.

I have 3 C15s, although one was bought as an emergency replacement when the top of another split and fell apart. Make of that what you will, but I really like them as comfy saddles that are good in all weathers. The top is quite rough though so can damage shorts, and mud sticks to it quite easily.

I've got a C17 coming next week on a new (to me) bike so will see if the extra width makes much of a difference, but I'll probably just sell it on and stick to C15s.

I'm currently testing a Cambium for ultra-distance rides. It's had several 200s and 300s so far and seems OK. I fancy testing the carbon versions though because they're half the weight.

Well carbon lightness will mean nothing with my bulk on it,that said I have been good recently and shed some lard.
Keep us updated please Gruffy as I value your opinion.

I've had both a C15 and C13 carbon version

Looked absolutely fantastic on the bike, and were also comfortable- right upto the point that they wore a hole in my shorts and started to do the same on the inside of my thighs.

Needless to say I decided they weren't for me and reverted to my trusty San Marco Regale.
