Anyone Ditched their Car Completely for a Bike?

Done it before. Worked about 10 miles from home, which was perfect on my fixie at the time. Wouldn't work for me now as my commute is too long. If I lived nearer to work, I could be tempted as I'm on the gf's insurance anyway and have a motorbike license too, so wouldn't be completely immobile.

Winter riding is ok if you have the right kit. Riding at this time of year is fun anyway.
