I escaped the WFH for an hour today for a rare ride, and a bit of scrambling!

All within Greater London (just).
Reminds me of doing my paper round after the '87 storm biggrin

Completed but never again. 35-38 degrees from 0900 onwards, I can’t be bothered with that anymore, will only do gravel events cpl times a year in Europe going forward.

On to the positives, 8hrs 21 moving time for the 160km, feel like I could knock an hour easy off of that in more favourable conditions.

New bike was flawless (almost) managed to crack my saddle.

Loving the ENVE over my previous OPEN, more supple to ride, less numb plums (yes I’ve had multiple bike fits), no more burning triceps or numb hands. Loving the size 60 new frame.

Pics 0r it didn’t happen:
Lunatic!

Now there is a blast from the past...I did hear some muffled tunnelling noises, maybe he is trying to link it to his bunkers hehe

Well, we all wanted Nazi gold, crate of MG42s, and possibly a dead snow type scenario... but it kept folks from ranting about immigrants and politics for a couple of weeks.

Local pedal this afternoon to grab some spring sun.

Saw a weasel too, which was cool. Had a squirrel in it's mouth which was a big as it was.

Another quick loop to mitigate beers tonight.

Enduro tracks (moto) are a challenge with pedals. The downs are fun though.

I rode at Burlish Bike Park with my boys today, the eldest (pictured) had some coaching on the jump line and absolutely loved it. I rode the tamer lines with his little brother. It is a fun little bike park, great for learning to jump.
