Cheers for that, managed to order one last night. Wifey needs a new daily commuter ebike as her current Hyper 26" has been faultless for 2 years, but the ergonomics are so bad, so nice to have an upgrade.Hugo Stiglitz said:
Has anyone gone for a ..bike?
What's the legal protection if you chose the likes of PayPal finance and it turns up snapped/breaks in the next 12 months (over the period selected)?
I bought a Nukeproof Scout Elite from CRC earlier in their crisis that was a genuine £1,000 off - paid with a credit card. I'm enjoying the bike and figure that the risk of something going wrong and not being covered is more that compensated for by the massive saving I made. I simply would not have bought the bike at the full price of £2,400What's the legal protection if you chose the likes of PayPal finance and it turns up snapped/breaks in the next 12 months (over the period selected)?

Why?
Crc/Wiggle drove alot of shops and smaller online competitors under, there was a time when they also sold unofficial grey market items which royally pissed off distributors.
Mike Ashley doesn't buy goody goody businesses and trash them. Their owners have already driven them to bankruptcy.
My son will want a part time job soon, I've no problem with him going to work in Sports Direct etc.

They weren’t the only ones selling OE parts cheap. When I worked in a bike shop, the manager was good friends with a bloke from Orange and we hoovered up lots of their excess components which were then sold cheap in the shop.Crc/Wiggle drove alot of shops and smaller online competitors under, there was a time when they also sold unofficial grey market items which royally pissed off distributors.

I bought some cheap Code brakes from Stif recently which were clearly OE, arriving in a bag, not a box.

Anyway-
Ordered a bike from CRC yesterday, despatched today. I'll see how prepped it is (best case scenario arrives just the wheel and pedals to fit) but without a workshop I doubt it'll have been PDI(?) etc.

Has anyone who has put orders in got confirmation e-mails when their stuff has been dispatched?
Put an order in Monday night and other than the automatic order confirmation e-mail I've had nothing else...
