My £23 Deore chainset has arrived at Evri. So looks good. Evri reliability seems to vary. Ours is OK.

Not really much else I needed that was big savings.

One thing I do note about RM/Parcelforce they either try a neighbour or leave it on the drive.

Which will mean a mad dash home from the office tomorrow (if it arrives tomorrow).

Parcelforce once left a Orvea Rise on the driveway as delivered.

I ordered some shoes and a saddle last night. There is a fair chance the shoes will have to go back so that could be interesting trying to get a refund...

So the BuzzBikes arrived today, 2 days after ordering, that is a new record. I have bought bikes costing 10x this and taken longer.

First impressions are really really good. Feel like a quality bit of kit. However zero instructions and I very much doubt it was checked before posting (expected really). It was very well packaged and everything was in the box.

You need to install the front mudguard, handlebars, seat, front wheel (the usual) and the kickstand (even came with pedals!). Just watch on the kickstand as the bolts are very near the drive cable.

I really like the integrated front and rear lights off the main battery. The battery is removable and came with 2 keys.

Wifey is going to be very happy with this as her new work bike.

Ordered some nuke proof tshirts, tld mtb gloves and a nuke proof hoody. But as said, so much out of stock and the filter function is crap.

I considered buying lots of stuff. Falling into the buying fever. After all 25£ five tens is a fantastic price but I've already got two decent pairs plus Sombrio ones (that will not destruct) so I don't need anything. Why buy for the sake of it? There'll always be bargains out there.

I def fell into buying fever on Monday night. TRP Evo shifter and mech, IXS knee pads, IXS helmet and a Fox Speedframe.

That then led to me ordering a new cassette from Merlin and whilst doing that a pair of Hope Union pedals somehow ended up in my basket.

Mine arrived yesterday, took it for a quick spin around the block to check it out and I love it. Wish I bought more biggrin

Lack of instructions or tools was odd but guess they're made for rental market so workshop would put them together, plastic packaging everywhere was horrible.

Here's the controller instructions in case you were wondering

Ordered Monday, parceforce (large items/48hrs service) states 'advised'.

No tracking beyond despatched (CRC)

And no movement on parcelforce.
Do you have any update on this? I’m in the same boat at the mo frown

I put three orders in on Monday night about an hour between each one. The second one ordered arrived yesterday, the first one ordered was marked as shipped at the same time as the first one and still hasn't arrived but is apparently with Evri, might turn up tomorrow. The third order was marked as shipped a few hours ago.

Everything I ordered was in stock and all general smallish stuff. I think they're just a bit all over the place ATM.

I ordered four wheels in Monday. Still not marked as shipped, yet Parcelforce delivered one this morning and I had a refund email for the other three

It's here. Parcelforce were going to return to sender after one failed try. Luckily I drove 20 miles across the city to pick it up after work. I've not opened it yet. Will do in am.

But the (big) box feels abit light so might have a peak tonight.

Ah good, well I’m glad you received it! Hopefully everything’s actually in there…

I ordered on Wednesday early hours, got a dispatch notification Wednesday but parcelforce saying ‘advised’ still on Friday now. I’m guessing CRC have just put ‘dispatched’ automatically, or are maybe reducing the amount of collections parcelforce make, or something. But I wish they’d either tell me nothing, or put dispatched when it actually arrives with parcelforce so there was no reason to worry!!

I’m guessing mine will arrive (if it exists) on Tuesday or after.

I have bought loads of stuff from Wiggle recently- a bike, and pretty much refreshed my road and MTB winter riding kit. Has all turned up. The downside though- zip failed on some overshoes and I tried to return but got this email:

We regret to inform you that our company is currently undergoing a liquidation process. Due to this unfortunate circumstance, we are unable to accept any warranty claims that are older than 28 days.

The importer or manufacturer should be able to assist with this?

They are dhb, which if I understand correctly is an in house brand so I imagine in the same situation. £30 so not really worth the time of chasing too hard.

I have a hundred quids worth of Castelli return pending, and have reordered the correct size so if both of those go awry I will be a little more miffed!

Ah, yes dhb are internal. I’ve had a few sips fail on kit over the years the local tailors/sewing shop charges about £4-8 for a zip from memory so maybe still get some use out of them if you can.

OK I placed an order with a 10% code but from what understand it creates a discrepancy in their system and the order(s) previously in this situation got cancelled.

I contacted CRC saying please cancel/hilighting this and I'll reorder at the correct price. I was told too late.

Alittle weird.

I've noticed now it's gone from placed to processing.

Does this mean sometimes the 10% off coded orders get through? It's about £80 difference!
