Just taken a punt in the Reactor frame as it’d dropped by £200 since I last checked.

It was too much of a bargain not to.

Paid with a credit card just in case.
I'd do the same if I was in your shoes tbh.

Just had three separate items in the last week only issue is that they use Evri/Hermes for deliveries but all items arrived no problem.

I ordered a Nukeproof Reactor 290 frame from Wiggle on Sunday, arrived yesterday and they'd sent a bare warranty frame with no rear shock, headset, seat collar or even a rear axle!

They're now being awkward pricks so I'm being equally awkward back, currently sat waiting for an e-mail from them but they're slow AF to respond and good luck getting to actually speak to someone.

That said, a hardtail frame is hard for them to get wrong so I'd just order it if i were you.
Take to Twitter about things like this and @ the company. Put a photo of your order compared to what they sent you. I find that these days the only way to get a company to fix their errors is to put a running commentary on twitter.

Having said that it might not work with companies in administration.

Twitter won't do anything on a company that's already in administration.

S0eak to your card provider for a charge back.

I would NOT send the frame back without the money. Full stop. If it was me.

Worsecase plenty of used shocks on pinkbike - I've bought a few on there.

Smaller parts seem to be getting sent quickly; the gear cables that I ordered on Saturday night arrived this morning.

The frame is still waiting to be sent. Having got a quote to post my old frame out, I can see why CRC and Co now charge for bulky items.

re earlier comments about Wiggle/CRC pricing for Black Friday deals, I've been eyeing some carbon rims for my Bianchi.

Comparing content, carbon rims are cheaper with regular pricing on both bike-discount.de and bike-components-de - although they have wider distribution than Wiggle/CRC and are set to charge VAT based on the delivery country, for example.

That said, I do really like DHB cycling kit, which I think is only available from Wiggle?

Wiggle delivered! I have now bought some kit as well as the bike. Seems to be safe to shop with them still.

Hasn't this far but only been used for short rides. I also bought a quick release seatclamp as a kind of ghetto dropper post for long descents!

My Reactor 290 turned up and after a ride today, what a frame, they're £1k right now which is an absolute bargain. It's like a trail bike that behaves like an enduro bike when you need it to.

My Reactor 275 frame arrived yesterday.

I’m still waiting for a service kit to arrive for my forks so I can reduce the travel. I need to buy a hose kit as well because the hose routes under the BB whereas my Mega was above. Code hoses are hard to find and bloody expensive. Joy.

Ordered some tyres Sunday and they arrived today. Not sure if I’d be brave enough to order owt expensive mind. Such a shame they’ve gone this way, I hope they survive. I can remember pre Wiggle days maybe 15yrs ago you’d order something tea time and the postie would be knocking on you’re door with it the next morning (with that quick delivery included in the price).

Those were the days indeed. Ordering on the phone, checking the massive adverts on magazines.

I remember my first CRC order back in the early to mid 2000's, spending (what was to me) quite a bit and being super paranoid about getting all the card details correct. Was amazed when it turned up the next day from Northern Ireland, seemed like witchcraft at the time.

It used to take 3 days to get here - a group of us would put an order together, pay for it all with one credit card, on a Monday, and the box of goodies would turn up at work, in Sydney, on Friday.

In fact, CRC’s prices and service were so good, I know of more than one bike shop here that took advantage rather than go through local agents.

I haven’t bought bike bits from them for a while as the price/speed difference isn’t so much any more - perhaps 10% cheaper than just going down the road and getting what I need, when I need it.

Was good while it lasted, but was never going to last forever.

Had ordered a vitus nucleus on behalf of my brother around a week ago (and if I had space would have been tempted with one myself, the price is ridiculous!) Delivered quickly, built correctly, still business as usual for my order.
