I won a prize the other week:
...and all it cost me was a £25 ticket to a charity fundraiser (itself an awesome night).
Specialised Tarmac Comp, fresh from wheeling her home, hence the lack of pedals, dork disc, labels etc, etc. Couldn't help but pick this colour scheme as a slight nod to the Gulf colours.
Yeah, still pinching myself

Lovely - brave choice on the forks. Report back?
I've just done a quick 26km loop of which about half is off road with over 800m of climbingFirst impressions of the bike is that is far better than I ever expected it to be! Bearing in mind than other than riding it to the post office on the original wheels and forks this is my first actual ride on the bike, so I tried not to hurt myself!
The forks seem fantastic. (As a comparison, our other mountain bikes are a 2015 Devinci Spartan with 160mm Formula 35's and a 2015 Banshee spitfire with 160mm RCT3 Pikes. I also until recently had a hardtail with 120mm SID xx's which seemed to beat me up every time I rode it)
From my quick first ride the forks seem to have excellent small bump compliance. I normally ride the Spartan as it is ridiculously plush on rough tracks. I find the Pikes a bit less so, and the 120mm Sids which were also 2015 I found really harsh
The RS-1's are also seem really stiff front to back, although a bit less so if you put the wheel between your legs and twist, although they are an XC fork, and even the larger forks I have do flex in that situation.
I will try and do a few rides on it over the next week or so and see how it goes. So far I am happy with them. They also look awesome!

Nice. I love older Wiliers.
Those cables look like they need some attention though.
Thanks, just been out for my first spin on it and must say I'm very pleased with its performance Those cables look like they need some attention though.
Not quite sure what's going on with the cables, they have some sort of flexible casing over them, most probably remove it shortly.

Looks great. Your location ...I'm not a typically jealous person, but F me...I've just ridden in snow and sleet for three hours, my feet are in the stinging warm up phase. I can't wait for the weather to warm up.
