I like that, there is something about a Crosser. I have a Giant TCX, and they're a very versatile bike; ride it on road, off road, it can deal with all but the most rough terrain. I got mine last year, and have ridden it all through the year, not bothering to buy a new Road bike....as the weather has been awful.

Here's mine. Transition Bandit custom build - XT Groupset, 2013 140mm Fox Forks, Reverb Seat Post, Hope Pro2 Wheelset with Flow rims, 720mm Fat Bars.

Unfortunately not able to ride it just yet as broke my leg 3 months ago and still waiting for the leg to heal up before hitting the trails again, can't wait! Just getting back to some gentle road riding now though. smile

Not only is this bike magical by standing on its own, its gorgeous too!

Heal well, now you'll itching to get better!

It's not technically my bike, and it's not really worth showing off. But in a spirit of "it's not what you've got it's how you ride it..."

Only 40 mins tonight, but that's 40 mins in pitch dark, in thick fog, in what is now a very slippery and in places muddy forest. Ace smile

My bmx, a 2008 WeThePeople Phoenix...bought(on discount, it's brown!) to improve my riding...without multiple hospital visits. I am actually getting better, even if it is a slow process.

During the summer my bike is clean, crisp, and looks great.

During the winter, it looks like this. I clean it, take great care, then it looks like this in barely a morning's riding...

It's served me well though :

Oh, it's killing me. But I love that it gets used and (as a work horse) is doing brilliantly. But the dirt and muck makes me wince!

It is my winter hack - well, my only hack smile

Beginning of next summer I'll be getting something expensive, something carbon and something electronically shifting biggrin

Indeed. Swapped the CTR for it a couple of weeks ago.

You'd love the National Trust sticker in the screen then wink

Don't bother cleaning it. Just clean the chain, rings, cassette, etc. every other ride and oil it every ride and leave the rest. Repeated washing will kill the BB, headset, the wheel bearings, even if you're careful.

Why on earth would anyone want to venture off road in Aus. Every bit of flora and fauna wants to kill you; hell even the Sun tries its damnedest to do so.
