The "Show off your bike" thread!

Looks like they've packed a lot into a small space there. I looked it up, and there's a bit on the CTC website.
It looks good in your photos, but pushing a bike up to the top doesn't sound like my thing, really, and I'm not a fan of paying to ride trails when I can ride many other places for free. I'll stick with Hawley/Minley and Swinley for the time being, I think. I might change my mind later in the year, and give Tidworth a crack, but I've been off the bike since February with a shoulder injury, so Blacks and Reds probably aren't a good idea until I get my strength back. Thanks for the info, though. It's always nice to have the option of something different

Yellowjack - It's on the A338, just North of Shipton Bellinger/South of Tidworth.
I think they're got 6 or 7 runs now - a couple of blues and reds plus one black and a dirt jump area. There's no uplift so you have to push up a chalky track (slippery in the wet!) but it doesn't take too long. Well maintained tracks and a great day out at only £5 for a day pass.
Videos of three of their runs on my YouTube - https://www.youtube.com/user/239jp/videos
It's about a 40 minute drive for me to get there, can't imagine it's much further from Farnborough so I'd say it's worth the trip. They make good use of the hill and there's some nice big jumps. I'd definitely go to Tidworth rather than Swinley/QE for a bit of fun, but still choose Swinley when I want to get some miles in.
And about 400 yds from my front door! I never go there as I am too old for that stuff (and my wife won't let me). Yeah I'd definitely recommend a visit. I went again today, so twice over the Easter weekend to prove how much I enjoy riding there! Thanks for bringing itto my attention
Finally cleared the road gap on the black run today but unfortunately my GoPro wasn't working, so looks like I'll be going back again next week to get it on video as proof.
It is quite chalky though so I'd avoid it in the wet. Even after the few showers yesterday it left the tracks pretty slippery this morning before the sun properly got on them.

Nice! Kinda got the Venge look to it too. Nice colours.
Don't fret that you haven't had it since Xmas, the weather's only just got good enough to take it out!
Thanks Jester. I was tempted by the Venge but you couldn't buy the frame set in the UK (in this colour combo). True enough - the weather hasn't been too great but this arrived just in time for a nice 90km in the sun yesterday. Still very good, work well with Black Prince pads in my experience. Finally cleared the road gap on the black run today but unfortunately my GoPro wasn't working, so looks like I'll be going back again next week to get it on video as proof.

The Yeti SB-66 needed a partner to help out for xc duties, so I just added this to the 'n+1' fleet.
Carbon Cannondale Scalpel. Soon to be 1x10 and in due course converted to 650b and hopefully at sub 20lbs after a bit of further carbon titivation.
This is the Yeti btw...

Curious if the rear triangle will have enough room to take the larger 650b wheel?

Thanks again. If alls well and good I am going to take a trip down on Thursday for a few hours, may be a bit wet and slippy but at least I will get an idea. Finally cleared the road gap on the black run today but unfortunately my GoPro wasn't working, so looks like I'll be going back again next week to get it on video as proof.

Arrived at lunchtime at home. Rode home on my other bike, pulled it out the box, fit bars and pedals. Take Reverb and saddle off other bike. Nice little clips under the top tube for the reverb hose. Rode back to work and home tonight on it. First thing I noticed is lack of gears with only 2 piddly chainrings, but riding flat lands isn't what its all about. Add said didn't come with a bash ring and picture didn't say it had a chain system either. Needs setting up, converting to tubeless and oodles of frame protector. Has a great big plastic guard under the downtube for rock protection. So, Spain in 3 weeks, here I come.
