1994/5 (unsure) GT Tequesta. Bought for £75 and in amazing condition for 20 years old.

Love that, and woud love one for tooling around on but they never sell the hub-geared version in the UK and low maintenance would be one of my main reasons for buying one.

I just like unusual bike stuff like cargo bikes and trailers. I probably wouldn't have one of these as my only bike but to add to the collection...

Its only taken me 2 years of procrastinating, 4 weeks of painting, a day of cleaning and de-painting and sanding threads and mounting holes, and a day of spannering...

But I've finally turned this:

Just needs shifters, a chain and grips to finish off. I have some nice hydro brakes ready to fit, but need a set of mounting bolts
Looks good and i bet it took for what felt like an eternity to complete but the BB looks really high and the forks really slack, is that how it always was?

I think it looks odd because the forks are much longer than originally intended:

Not sure I could live with the bar tape, but they are a pretty looking bike.

Thanks, the bar tape will be changed to white and a new white saddle as this one is causing painful sit bones, but going to try some bib shorts first, instead of the cycling shorts.
