Looks fast. Question though, how are those bars for riding on the flats for any length of time. They look very aerodynamic but very painful.

Very good question, can't imagine the pedal action to be too efficient?

I might be wrong but I think with the negative stem you're probably having to reach so far forward that unless you're extremely flexible you're having to compensate by shoving the seat right over the BB.

I would measure your saddle setback Tom and see where the tip is in relation to the BB, you may actually find that stem up the other way is far more efficient for you as you can put the saddle more centrally.

Rose Pro SL-2000 bought for £800 direct from Germany. Sold the Mavic Aksium's and replaced with Reynolds Assault. Going to replace the bars (shallow drop) and saddle (wider) then we're ready to go!

I'm taking a road trip to Germany in october & i'm hoping to pop into the Rose bike town, how were Rose to deal with ? i've heard an awful amount of good things about them.

Placed order, waited a few weeks as advised, bike arrived. No problems at all.
