My latest build. A 1990's steel Battaglin that i have owned since new and have just had striped and refinished in original Gulf Racing Blue (same RAL as Bianchi Celeste) along with all new parts including threadless carbon fork, 2015 Campag Veloce groupset and Khamsin wheels and various other bits of niceness.

Well i have absolutely no intention of riding it as i have another bike for those duties. It's going to sit in my office looking pretty until someone buys it off me.

Glad your wait was worth it. You did well to get your order in when you did. I believe they sold out for the year in all sizes a few weeks ago, so a very successful line for Canyon!

Yep. I ordered back in Jan, so did have to wait a while, but was definitely worth it!! It felt so sharp and responsive on my first ride out and is a flying machine compared to my 2010 Specialized Allez which will now on the turbo trainer pretty much permanently!!

Cheers mate. Think they just kept teasing me by adding one extra day onto the expected delivery day but......

Oddly enough i've had a mail from Rose this morning saying


'BIKE BUILT & SHIPPED TODAY'

This is a very special bike to me, I bought it a year after having a heart attack and six months after double bypass surgery so it really makes feel good every time I ride it!
