Yep, wet was about right! Almost glad I was working today! Though I got out for a night ride after wink

I think most PHers will appreciate my new frame, I don't think I need to explain why - Production Privee Shan in limited edition 917 colourway.

Getting her a bit dirty after work this evening - one of my local loops around Llyn Padarn (Llanberis):

Now, funnily enough, I was doing the Marin because my lad was doing a coaching course at Surf-Lines yesterday, and the Marin was the nearest trail I knew about.

I back over there next week, so it would good to know of some decent trails nearby, other than Snowdon!

Wood woof! This might just be my next bike, when I've recovered from buying my 130i. How's it ride? What sort of stuff do you ride with it?

Finally finished the winter bike. Took it out for a shakedown earlier today and needs a tweak here and there but very pleased with the smaller frame. Top tip: don't buy SKS mudguards; very fiddly to fit.

They look very similar to ones i've just had fitted by my LBS on the winter Ribble. They rattle like f***ery........ i've called back in but they say there's nothing they can do...... not impressed. Every bump and pothole (for which we have many in Somerset!) causes big rattles. I've adjusted, loosened, tightened, re tightened, but to no avail....... losing the will to live with them tbh. They may have to come off in a blind fit of rage next weekend...... How are yours ?!

Drop me a message, there's a lot around here, but it's all unmarked/a bit naughty. I'm available for some night rides if you fancy being shown some stuff.

Penmachno is the other trail centre that isn't too far away.

Ok so far but you'll notice the rear stay isn't attached as I cut it twice in error. I wouldn't be surprised if I do end up throwing them in the bin. What's even worse is these were bought with a Wiggle voucher as an apology for supplying the frame with a couple of chips. FFS!

Finished building up my first ever full suss a couple of weeks ago, and the first bike I've ever built. Switchback Unveil 9 29er, with 130mm Monarch debonair, 140mm Pikes, Reverb, XT brakes and drivetrain, 1 x 10 with Superstar NW ring, Mavic EN423 UST rims on Superstar switch ultra hubs. Ridden it a fair bit over the last few weeks and love it. Going to start experimenting with tokens and different pressures in the fork next.

My current favourite bike...

A 1997 Falcon Pro-Line road bike. Mine from new, and subject to a lot of recent work and new parts after being used and abused for over a decade, then sadly neglected for the last 6 years. All that's left to do now is the gear cables and bottom bracket. Every other bearing and moving part has either been replaced, or refreshed/rebuilt. Latest job was new calipers and mudguards to get it up to a decent standard for the winter.
