As this is PH I'm sure you won't mind a car being in the shot. My Felt Nine 6

Wibble wobble

(more for the car than the bike, but hey, nice bike too smile)
yes

Instead of a modern Felt, that car needs a classic by the likes of Cinelli, Frejus, Legnano...
Oh piss, I'm off looking at classic bikes now, I'll blame it on you when my wife finds out!

Ohhhhhh my. That Alfa is beautiful. As the others said, needs some classic Italian steel on the roof!

got a new winter bike after an impulse purchase at the evans cycles sheffield marquee event.

Ex-demo but mint condition - £1500. pics are nicked off the webs (identical 2015 model) as its having the cannondale recall done. but thought it was a bit of a bargain

That's a great bike, but the Ralphs will keep you alert in the winter. Although not as rolling and heavier, you could do a lot worse for getting some Michelin Muds from Chain Reaction for under £20 an end , which are tubeless and work really well in the gloop.
Is that a carbon 2 or 3?

Went out on my one a few weeks ago, I picked up the outgoing 2015 Stumpy Evo for the same money as your bike so it had been sidelined till it had the recall, still astounds me how well it rides. Got mine (r/w/b carbon 2) for £1999 - about £1500 off ffs! Who pays full retail? Not me!

My new (still at the lbs, fitting on Friday) Domane 5.2 in the 'other' colour scheme which isn't on Trek's website....

Full carbon, full Ultegra and I've popped the Race Lite wheels on it from my current Domane 2.0.

Really like that paint scheme, the elongated triangles and clear edge definition work well.

That is one of the best looking cars I've ever seen. Fan-effing-tastic.

ETA - What is it? I'm crap at old Alfas.

Also...RUBBISH to all those saying classic bike. I love the (prepare for architect wk) juxtaposition of old and new.

Thank you! Its a 1972 Alfa GT Junior, very scruffy but loved and used lots! I agree about the juxtaposition too

The angle of your bars looks very uncomfortable, are you actually able to ride on the hoods?

I bought it in 2008 purely based on it's looks and it "fitted" according to the Evans height chart. That was a huge mistake and it took 3 years of very painful riding and telling my wife that all the money I spent was a good idea before I began to enjoy it.

It only took 2 Bike fits, 3 saddles, 2 stems and now, the only original part left is the seat post! It rides like a dream and I love it, but when I think of the pain in those first few years it makes me shudder.

Never buy a bike untested, it will only end in tears and a very sore torso.

Advanced Pro 0 (I think). Saw last year's model (the orange one) hanging on the wall of Escape Route in Pitlochry, just before Etape Caledonia, and really liked the look (I really don't take it seriously enough to get overly focused on aero / TT / comfort, etc - tend just to go with the looks. Bit shallow but hey ho. Last bike then got stolen 2 months later and, having decided I was going to treat myself after a tough year, I couldn't get hold of one for love nor money. Kevin at Escape Route then managed to source one of the 2016 models at the London shows and it arrived last week. Slightly better spec than last year and £400 cheaper so everyone's a winner...

Ok, proper pics to follow next week when I collect it (just awaiting paperwork to be signed off). This is my new 'do it all' commuting, bike packing, child towing, mile munching super bike to replace my 3 year old Trek which has done north of 20,000km.

I've been told Giant concept stores are offering 40% off 2015 stock on 28th Nov. No idea what they'll have in stock but worth hanging on if anyone is in the market for one...
