I really like that.Banana Boy Project Single Speed: 95%... by Ben Magee, on Flickr

Itching so badly to get out and ride it but I'm not getting it dirty with the winter grime so it's garage bound at the moment... I have made it as far as track standing in the living room though... (while SWMBO was at work )
Picked up new toy today, Trek Madone 9.9, H1 fit, Project One paint scheme.
Build is Da9070 shifters and mechs. Quarq Elsa, Praxis rings 52:36, Specialized Power saddle and Enve 6.7s & CK hubs (plus Enve cages). Only planned changes are some Enve 7.8s on Enve hubs, so the 6.7s can go back onto my Parlee.
Have gone from never thinking about owning a Specialized to having 2 in the family now after this arrived today. Its the Wifes new 'offroady' road bike.... A 2016 Specialized Crux Expert x1 (is second hand but is basically perfect condition and had only done 180kms and cost exactly half the local new price)
I have a tamer set of 35mm folding Continental Cyclocross Speeds on order for these wheels, and will build up another set of wheels for pure road use. Probably the SCS / 12mm suitable Hope SP24's with some LB 45mm aero rims, and some 28mm gp4000's
Flat pedals were only fitted very briefly and have been swapped out for spd's
Will see what the gearing is like over the weekend but that new e13 9-44t cassette looks like it could be an awesome option if the 11-32 isn't sufficient!

I do like the latest Konas. Don't see many about though.
Not many no, mostly the odd Process here and there. My full new bike story...
Back in May 2015 this arrived, at its core it was a Kona Precept DL that I went mad on changing everything on...
I rode it for four months, covering 1600 mostly happy miles...
...but I knew it never quite fitted me correctly. Always felt like I was pitching over the bars on steep descents no matter how far I tried to hang off the back end. I had a road bike accident in September so a bit of fleet reorganisation had me chuck the Precept DL frame for a Process 134, with its longer top tube and slightly different sizing to the previous bike. Using some cash and some muffins one of my favourite LBS's sorted the frame swap.
Had it these last couple of weeks and have put some good miles on it as I rebuild my post accident fitness and try and get my confidence back...
Grips now changed for some Raceface Half Nelsons.
